There has been some slight changes in plans for our WebQuest adventure. I failed to realize that MAPS testing begins on Monday and we will not be able to go the computer lab. We will go ahead with our Journey, we will just have to do it from our classroom instead. The projects will go as planned. The weeks agenda looks like this:
Monday 1/31- WebQuest Research
Tuesday 2/1- Discuss Research Questions and begin forming groups
Wednesday 2/2- Brainstorm for PowerPoint/Posterboard and 3-D model
Thursday 2/3- Science MAPS testing
Friday 2/4- Work in class on projects

Introducing My New Blog
Hello everyone! My name is Mrs. Erin Casada. I am creating this Blog to help my students stay up to date with what we are doing in class. I teach 7th grade science at Clinton County Middle School. We are currently working on a new unit. We are starting our Earth Science Unit this week. We will be going to the computer lab to work on a "Journey to the Center of the Earth" Webquest. Students will then be working in groups to create a presentation for the class. Their presentation can either be a PowerPoint or a Posterboard, as well as, they must create a 3-D model of the Earth's layers. Be creative with this assignment.
